Calla Lily

The Calla Lily is named after 'kallos', the Greek word for beauty.

Native to southern Africa, they are recognized by their distinct large, white, curvaceous leaves known as spathes. They are often seen in bridal bouquets and in the works of modern artists such as Georgia O’Keeffe, Diego Rivera, and Robert Mapplethorpe.
