Fukien Tea
Originating from China, the Fukien Tree Bonsai features unique trunk movement and irregular bark. With minimal care, it achieves an aged look in just a few years.
This compact bonsai requires minimal attention and occasional watering, perfect for small spaces. The Fukien Tea bonsai thrives indoors near a window and blooms with white blossoms in the spring.
Bonsai take weeks to acclimate and may shed 20% of the foliage. Place your Bonsai in sunny areas near southeast or west-facing windows. They flourish outdoors on the patio/deck with morning sun and afternoon shade. Bring your Bonsai back indoors when night temps fall below 55 degrees.
Water: Water every 2-3 days. Use ice cubes or a watering can with a fine spray nozzle to water.
Temperature: Bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight.
Fertilizer: Fertilize with water-soluble or time-release fertilizers. Inspect regularly for insects and diseases.
