Coming straight from its homeland of China, the Fukien Tree offers unusual trunk movement to distinguish it from other bonsai. The bark pattern is irregular and will give it the appearance of a long life after only caring for it for a few years. It’s typically used as an accent point indoors and thrives as a unique bonsai.

As long as the Fukien Tea tree is placed near a window, it will thrive. However, once you make it to the months of April and May, it can surprise its own with the sudden proliferation of white blooms that complement the small shiny green leaves that climb up the trunk.

This bonsai is a tropical evergreen that is ideal for those with little time or no space in the yard for larger plants. It works well in an 11-inch humidity tray and needs to be watered only every few days in most seasons.
