Mini Calla

Calla lilies are one of the most versatile flowers found in nature, used for a variety of occasions—from weddings, all the way to funerals. Available in countless shades, they have symbolism dating all the way to Greek times—when Venus, the goddess of love and desire, saw calla lilies, she was jealous of their beauty.

This is why some associate the Calla lily with desire and passionate love. More common than the Greek symbolism, they are connected with purity. They can be seen in images of the Virgin Mary.

Because of this, and because they bloom in the Spring, close to Easter, they are commonly tied to rebirth and resurrection.
