Aster

Asters were given their name from the Greek word for “Star” due to the celestial shape of their blooms. This relative of the daisies, marigolds, chrysanthemums, and sunflowers blooms in a variety of hues such as pink, red, white, lilac, and mauve.

While they have delicate petals, asters are hearty blooms with a long vase life.
